Various grants are available to groups or individuals for heritage-related projects.

Consult with the Red River North Heritage Committee if you want to pursue a grant for a heritage project—the Heritage Committee has the background and experience that can help you define and refine your project.

Heritage Grants Program

  • The Heritage Grants Program supports a range of heritage projects, excluding capital or operating funds
  • This program is operated by Manitoba Culture, Heritage and Tourism
  • The R.M. of St. Clements Heritage Committee has already carried out several projects with the help of Heritage Grants

Designated Heritage Building Grant

  • If you have a site with heritage designation, you may be eligible for a Designated Heritage Building Grant
  • This grant is awarded by Manitoba Culture, Heritage and Tourism
  • This grant is not intended for routine maintenance or upgrades, but is designed to help with projects that are directly related to repairing or restoring the heritage character of a building
